When Jeff Tedford was young and nimble he led Fresno State to glory in the 1982 Cal Bowl. Quarterback Tedford left for playing days in the pros before winding up on the sidelines calling the plays again. The quarterback turned coach paid his dues on many levels before coming back to Fresno State as the Head Coach in 2017. From behind the center, to the center field sidelines Tedford has always shown tenacity and dedication to his craft. A winning intensity. Fresno State fans hope his homecoming will turn around a once proud program climbing the ladder of college credibility. After playing #1 Alabama and #6 Washington and losing with bright spots, Fresno State's real season begins with Nevada. Tedford and the Bulldogs have their eye on post season consideration. Technically it's five wins away.
